It is learned with deep sorrow that innocent people lost their lives and were injured as a result of a terrorist attack perpetrated today (7 April) in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm.

We strongly condemn this heinous attack. Turkey and Turkish people, who have been target of several similar attacks, share the grief of Sweden and the Swedish people.

Underlining the importance of global cooperation in the fight against terrorism, we reiterate that we will resolutely maintain our solidarity with the international community, friends and partners against all kinds of terrorism.
