We strongly condemn the terrorist attack perpetrated last night in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso claiming lives of innocent people and injuring scores of others.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of one Turkish citizen and the injury of another in this attack.

We convey our deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and the brotherly people of Burkina Faso and wish speedy recovery to the wounded.

Turkey will continue to support and to stand in solidarity with Burkina Faso which has recently become the target of terrorism.
