We are saddened to note the baseless allegations about Turkey in a press statement dated 3 April 2019, by the Ministry of Information of Eritrea. We believe that these statements arouse out of misinformation.

As one of the strategic partners of Africa, Turkey maintains her multi-dimensional cooperation with the African countries and attributes great importance to the security and stability of the Continent. In this context, our appreciation of the normalization process between Ethiopia and Eritrea and the developments towards the stability of the Horn of Africa has been made public on various occasions.
