Within the framework of the agreements reached during the meetings between the Special Representatives for the Türkiye–Armenia Normalization Process, representatives of the relevant institutions of the two countries convened on 28 November 2025, at the Akyaka–Akhurik border crossing between Türkiye and Armenia and in the city of Gyumri in Armenia. They held the second round of technical discussions aimed at the rehabilitation and reactivation of the Kars–Gyumri railway.
